The DOE used to be called the ERDA, (Energy Regulation and Development Admin.) and before that it was called the AEC (Atomic Energy Commission). On its website, the DOE traces its beginnings to the Manhattan Project (where the first atomic bombs were developed and tested in secret). So, whatever its name, we know that this agency is responsible for researching, developing and pushing for the use of all nuclear weapons.

For our second day of vigiling, we chose to bring our message of repentance and hope to the Air and Space Museum, then to the Department of Energy.
